As a frequent no-limit tournament player, AP’s tournament structures are by the far the best–each player starts out with 1500 in chips instead of just the 800 that they give you at Party Poker, or 1000 at Pokerroom. The blinds go up much slower on AP tourneys than they do on Party Poker’s. These two factors combine to make AP tournaments more favorable to the skillful players, and less of an all-in luckfest, such as what is forced on the players by Party Poker’s single table tournament structure (blinds go up every 10 hands!).
